Microsoft establishes new team to enter the industrial metaverse

ChainCatcher news, according to The Information, Microsoft internally announced the establishment of a new team called "Industrial Metaverse Core" last week, officially entering the industrial metaverse. The team plans to help customers create entirely new immersive software interfaces for operating the industrial control systems behind power plants, industrial robots, and transportation networks.

According to insiders, the products offered by the team will include technology provided by Bonsai. Bonsai enables mechanical or aerospace engineers to use machine learning to automate physical machinery or robots, and Microsoft acquired the company in 2018. (source link)
