Report: The number of smart contracts deployed on Ethereum increased by 40% in the third quarter, with a 14% increase in the two weeks following the merge

ChainCatcher news, the Web3 developer report for the third quarter from Alchemy, a blockchain infrastructure platform, shows that despite a 60% drop in ETH year-to-date, developer activity has reached a new high. The number of smart contracts deployed on Ethereum increased by 40% in the third quarter, setting a new record.

Additionally, 36% of the deployed and verified smart contracts were completed in 2022, and there was a 14% increase in smart contract deployments within two weeks after the merge. (source link)
