P2E game SolChicks developer Catheon Gaming announced that it completed a $55 million funding round last November
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the P2E game SolChicks on Solana, developed by Catheon Gaming, completed a $55 million funding round in November 2021 by selling chicks tokens to build the game on the Solana blockchain. Catheon CEO William Wu confirmed that the company's full-time staff has decreased from 80 to around 40. However, Catheon Gaming is planning to launch a new token called catheon and a new play-to-earn (P2E) platform, with the token set to launch on October 24. Catheon Gaming plans to allow eligible chicks holders to exchange their tokens for catheon at a 1:1 ratio. (The Block)
