Galaxy Digital: Ethereum NFT projects earned $1.8 billion from NFT royalties, with Yuga Labs royalties nearing $150 million

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, a new report from Galaxy Digital's research department showcases key data on NFT royalties. Ethereum-based NFT projects have generated $1.8 billion from NFT royalties, with the top 10 projects accounting for 27% of all royalties. While NFT royalties also benefit smaller artists, the primary beneficiaries are top NFT projects, such as Bored Ape Yacht Club and companies like Nike.

The top 10 NFT projects netted $489 million, representing 27% of all royalty revenue. Yuga Labs' Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape, and other projects generated $147.6 million in royalties, followed by Art Blocks with $82 million in royalties.
