The court approved the establishment of a consumer privacy monitor for the Celsius bankruptcy case

ChainCatcher news, the court has approved Lucy Thomson to serve as the consumer privacy officer for the Celsius bankruptcy case, to protect customer data during the asset sale process. Since 2008, Lucy Thomson has served as a consumer privacy officer in 25 federal bankruptcy cases.

According to previous reports, the bidding process for Celsius has been approved by a U.S. federal judge, outlining the steps for selling platform assets and setting a timeline that allows for asset sales by the end of the year. Celsius plans to solicit bids for its retail asset business, which includes account and token balances, retail and institutional loan portfolios, exchange services, staking platforms, payment functionalities, DeFi sector, and any cryptocurrency assets it holds. It also plans to solicit bids for "remaining assets," which include its mining operations. (The Block)
