Animoca Brands launches Publisher NFTs to empower educators

ChainCatcher news, Animoca Brands and its subsidiary TinyTap have launched education-related tokens for Publisher NFTs, which will be auctioned on the NFT marketplace OpenSea on November 2.

Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu stated that the company's goal is "to empower educators to build their own assets and accumulate value, just as NFTs have fundamentally transformed art and gaming."

It is reported that Animoca Brands acquired the edtech platform TinyTap for nearly $39 million in June, allowing teachers to provide publishing rights for their courses through Publisher NFTs and share revenue from the platform's subscription model, or promote Publisher NFTs on other platforms, where they can earn up to 80% of the revenue generated from marketing and publishing efforts.
