Instagram will launch NFT minting and sales features

ChainCatcher news, Meta announced that Instagram is developing NFT minting and selling features that will allow users to create and launch their own NFTs and sell them through Instagram. This feature is expected to be initially available to artists such as photographer DrifterShot and visual artist Ilse Valfré. Additionally, Instagram will pull NFT data from OpenSea so that users can view NFT collection names and descriptions on Instagram.

Previously reported, in September, Meta announced that users in the U.S. on Facebook and Instagram could connect wallets and share digital collectibles, which includes users being able to cross-post their held digital collectibles on Facebook and Instagram. Furthermore, users in 100 countries/regions where digital collectibles are offered on Instagram can also use this feature. (source link)
