Malta Financial Services Authority: FTX has two companies in Malta, with SBF as the sole director

ChainCatcher news, according to Times of Malta, the Malta Financial Services Authority disclosed that FTX registered two companies locally in April 2022, namely FTX Malta Gaming Services Limited and FTX Malta Holdings Limited, with SBF as the sole director of both companies.

However, neither of these companies was authorized to conduct any activities related to virtual financial assets or cryptocurrencies within or outside Malta. The authority added that they will continue to monitor the international situation to closely observe the potential impact of FTX's bankruptcy on local crypto license holders. (source link)
