Sony acquires the metaverse sports portal platform Beyond Sports

According to ChainCatcher news, Sony Corporation announced the acquisition of AI data analytics and visualization company Beyond Sports, integrating Beyond Sports into Sony's sports business. Beyond Sports will work alongside Hawk-Eye and Pulselive to jointly promote the development of Sony's sports business. The acquisition price is reported to be between $35.36 million and $70.72 million.

Beyond Sports is positioned as a metaverse sports portal, an AI-based data analytics and visualization company.
