WBTC DAO plans to reset the smart contract multi-signature scheme

ChainCatcher message, according to The Block, the community managing the Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) project, WBTC DAO, is setting up a new smart contract multi-signature scheme to replace the inactive signers. The new group of signers will be responsible for signing transactions and changing the Token contract when necessary.

It is reported that the new WBTC DAO multi-signature threshold will change from 11/18 to 8/13, retaining seven members from the original group, including Compound, Loopring, Kyber, and BitGo, with new additions Chainlink and Balancer. FTX, Airswap, and MakerDAO will be removed from the signers. (source link)
