Bloomberg: Crypto industry participants donated $84.1 million to U.S. politicians, with 84% coming from SBF and FTX executives

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, as of mid-October, participants in the cryptocurrency industry donated $84.1 million to U.S. politicians, with the majority of the amount, about 84%, coming from Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) and other FTX executives.

After FTX filed for bankruptcy, several members of Congress, including Illinois Senator Richard Durbin and Oklahoma Republican Representative Kevin Hern, stated that they would return donations from FTX executives or donate the money to charity. (source link)
