ChainCatcher News, U.S. House Financial Services Committee Chair Maxine Waters forwarded SBF's tweet and stated: "Based on your role as a former CEO and the media interviews over the past few weeks, it is clear that the information you possess is sufficient to testify. The collapse of FTX has harmed millions of people, and your testimony is not only significant to Congress members but also important to the American people. You must attend the hearing on the 13th, and if there is more information to share later, we are willing to arrange for further hearings."

Earlier reports indicated that the U.S. House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on December 13, but SBF stated he would participate "once I finish learning and reviewing what happened," without committing to a specific date. (Source link)
