Coinbase calls for converting USDT to USDC and waiving conversion fees
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase has published a call to exchange USDT for USDC and waive the associated fees. Coinbase stated that USDC is supported 100% by cash and short-term U.S. Treasury securities held by U.S. regulatory financial institutions, and has been verified monthly by one of the largest auditing firms in the U.S., Grant Thornton LLP.
