The Bank of England is inviting bids for the "CBDC Sample Wallet Proof of Concept" project

ChainCatcher news, the Bank of England (BOE) has officially released a tender application for the "CBDC Sample Wallet Proof of Concept" project in the UK government's digital market, with a budget range of £200,000. The project duration is 5 months, and applications will close on December 23.

The main deliverables of the project are to create a mobile application suitable for iOS and Android, a wallet website, and a sample merchant website and backend infrastructure to support the wallet website and application while storing user data and transaction history. (Cointelegraph)
