Brazil plans to launch a central bank digital currency (CBDC) in 2024

ChainCatcher news, according to Einvestidor, Brazil's central bank president Roberto Campos Neto stated that there are plans to launch a central bank digital currency (CBDC) in 2024 and to collaborate with some financial institutions to conduct pilot programs before starting broader use of the CBDC.
