ChainCatcher news, AR NFT project Onlybots developer Anima has completed a $3 million funding round, led by Polygon Studios, Not Boring Capital, HashKey, and others. Onlybots is an Ethereum-based virtual pet NFT, and Anima co-founder Alex Herrity stated that each Onlybot comes with GPS coordinates that can be viewed through a smartphone camera, allowing NFT holders to overlay digital creatures in the physical world.

It is reported that Anima was co-founded by Herrity and Neil Voss, and previously raised $500,000 in a seed round led by Coinbase Ventures. Last week, they released the first two batches of about 500 virtual pet NFTs, Onlybots. (source link)
