ChainCatcher news, American game developer and publisher Riot Games has filed a motion with the court overseeing the FTX bankruptcy case to terminate the two companies' 7-year "League of Legends" sponsorship agreement, which was signed in August 2021.

Riot Games stated that FTX was required to pay $12.5 million for displaying its brand in the LCS events, but there is still $6.25 million outstanding. Additionally, FTX is expected to owe nearly $13 million in sponsorship fees in 2023. (source link)
