ChainCatcher news, Shytoshi Kusama, the chief developer of the cryptocurrency project Shiba Inu, apologized to the community on Twitter on behalf of the team, as the countdown posted on the official account last week misled the community.

It is reported that many Shiba community members speculated that this was a countdown to some major announcement, such as the Layer 2 solution Shibarium; however, the countdown represented a website upgrade. (source link)
