Bloomberg: The acquisition deal of Blockfolio by FTX is mainly paid in FTT tokens

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, a financial statement shows that FTX paid approximately $84 million in 2020 to acquire a majority stake in the portfolio management app Blockfolio, with about 94% of the transaction paid in FTT tokens. The financial statement indicates that the acquisition agreement granted FTX a 52% stake in Blockfolio, valuing the company at nearly $160 million, with an option to purchase the remaining equity within two years.
