ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the crypto satellite company Cryptosat announced the launch of its second crypto satellite, Crypto2, with the help of SpaceX. Crypto2 is a small satellite about the size of a cup, operating in low Earth orbit, with a computation speed 30 times faster than the company's first satellite, Crypto1, which was launched last May.

ChainCatcher previously reported that Cryptosat aims to provide a physically inaccessible and tamper-proof platform in space, from which blockchain and ledger applications can be launched. In October last year, Cryptosat completed a $3 million seed funding round, led by its co-founders Yonatan Winetraub and Yan Michalevsky, with participation from Protocol Labs, Inflection, GoAhead Ventures, DoraHacks, and others.
