ChainCatcher news, the NFT marketplace Magic Eden posted on social media that it has become aware of the issue of users purchasing counterfeit NFTs on Magic Eden. It has now added more layers of verification to address this issue, and affected users can seek assistance through Magic Eden's help center.

Earlier reports indicated that NFT collector Trollidan stated on social media earlier today that the user purchased a counterfeit NFT from the official ABC (abracadabra) series NFT page on Magic Eden, with multiple NFT collectors responding that they had similar experiences. (source link)
