Alameda sues Voyager, seeking to recover the $445.8 million loan repaid after Voyager filed for bankruptcy protection
ChainCatcher news, local time Monday afternoon, documents filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware indicate that once evidence is found of Alameda paying more to Voyager, Alameda's lawyers will seek to recover the $445.8 million loan repaid after Voyager filed for bankruptcy. Alameda is also seeking reimbursement for legal fees.
Alameda's lawyers referred to Voyager as Alameda's "feeder fund" in court documents, stating that there was "little to no due diligence" before investing from retail customers, highlighting the negative impact of Voyager in the collapse of FTX and Alameda: "Voyager and other cryptocurrency 'lenders' recklessly funded Alameda and fueled Alameda's alleged misconduct."
