ChainCatcher news, the security token platform tZERO tweeted that its application tZERO Crypto will cease operations on March 6, and users must withdraw their assets before March 6. tZERO stated that it will continue to focus on regulated securities business, bringing compliant digital asset securities to the market, including the legal provision of crypto assets on regulated securities platforms. tZERO believes that ceasing operations is not an exit, but a way to create a future for regulated digital assets and infrastructure.

Previously, ChainCatcher reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) imposed an $800,000 fine on the security token platform tZERO for violating federal disclosure rules and required it to stop the violations thereafter. (Source link)
