The first public testnet Alpha-1 of the Ethereum Layer 2 network Taiko will go offline on February 15

ChainCatcher message, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Taiko announced that the Alpha-1 testnet will be deprecated around 14:00 UTC on February 15, and the Alpha-2 testnet will be launched about a month after the deprecation. The Alpha-2 testnet will introduce important protocol components and participants that were lacking in Alpha-1.

Previously, on December 28, 2022, the Taiko Alpha-1 testnet officially went live, allowing all developers to deploy smart contracts and all interested participants to run L2 nodes. (source link)
