ChainCatcher news, the U.S. government partner Mitre has posted a job advertisement for a Web3 economist on LinkedIn. The post states that Mitre is looking for candidates with experience in digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs, aimed at analyzing and evaluating the Web3 ecosystem.

It is reported that Mitre operates a federally funded research and development center dedicated to addressing "the challenges the nation faces in defense, cybersecurity, healthcare, homeland security, justice, and transportation."
