Bloomberg: Hong Kong Monetary Authority plans to raise HK$800 million through the issuance of its first tokenized green bond
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg citing informed sources, the Hong Kong government has authorized banks to arrange the issuance of the first tokenized green bonds to raise HK$800 million (US$102 million). It is reported that the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has invited Bank of China, Crédit Agricole, Goldman Sachs, and HSBC to hold investor conference calls starting from February 13, during which the actual rights of these bonds will be recorded on a digital asset platform based on distributed ledger technology provided by Goldman Sachs.
