The Velodrome community initiated a proposal regarding the transfer of 1.5 million dollars in POL to Velodrome

ChainCatcher news, the AMM protocol Velodrome on Optimism has initiated the proposal "Make Velodrome the STG Hub on Optimism" on Commonwealth to increase the liquidity of Stargate on Optimism. The proposal suggests transferring $1.5 million POL (Protocol Owned Liquidity) from the Uniswap LP pool to Velodrome and bribing the STG-USDC pool based on the cross-chain liquidity protocol Stargate built on LayerZero. Velodrome will match 40% of Stargate's bribes according to the "Tour de OP" incentive plan, which can have more than 4 times the impact on the liquidity incentives for STG-USDC.

Stargate will begin a trial run of $500,000 in STG, bribing the STG-USDC pool at a rate of $100,000 per week. Velodrome will match 40% of Stargate's bribes each week.
