Optimism will hard fork Optimism Goerli in March
ChainCatcher news, Ethereum Layer 2 solution Optimism announced that it will conduct a hard fork of Optimism Goerli in March, with the exact time to be announced next week. This upgrade will improve the development experience of Bedrock by fixing inconsistencies in certain system transaction receipts in the API.
It is reported that this bug is developer-facing and will not affect user funds, but it does require a fork to be fixed. In terms of upgrade timing, op-geth and op-node updates will be released in early March, followed by the activation of the fork in mid-March. Users do not need to take any action and will not experience any interruptions or downtime. Partners and projects running nodes on Optimism Goerli will need to upgrade their nodes when the op-geth and op-node updates are released. (source link)
