Sui CTO: Aptos is deliberately suppressing Sui and related developers, feeling disappointed about it

ChainCatcher news, Sui Network CTO Sam Blackshear, who is also the father of the Move programming language, posted on Twitter, directly addressing Aptos Network. He stated that he learned Aptos intends to pressure PontemNetwork to cancel the talks of two OGs of Move language and the author of the Move compiler at movecon.live, and to remove the Sui Foundation from the list of event organizers.

Sam Blackshear also mentioned that although he works at Mysten Labs, when I make decisions related to Move, I set aside my position at Mysten and focus on what is most beneficial for Move and its long-term healthy development in the community. Inclusiveness, curiosity, and gratitude are important values of Move, so when people take the time to prepare talks and travel to attend conferences, we should welcome them, listen to them, and thank them, rather than canceling invitations at the last minute.
