GMO Financial acquires 10% stake in cryptocurrency hedge fund AWR Capital

ChainCatcher news, investor GMO Financial Holdings, which is engaged in cryptocurrency and forex margin trading, has acquired a 10% stake in multi-strategy crypto hedge fund AWR Capital, with the transaction amount undisclosed. AWR stated that it will become a market maker for GMO Coin, a Japanese forex and digital asset exchange, which is a subsidiary of GMO Financial Holdings. (CoinDesk)
