The Terraport project is suspected to have been attacked, resulting in a loss of nearly 4 million dollars
ChainCatcher news, the decentralized finance project Terraport launched by the independent development team TerraCVita of Terra Classic has been hacked, and all its liquidity has been drained. Data from Terra Finder shows that nearly $4 million worth of LUNC, USTC, and TERRA tokens have been emptied. The attacker withdrew 9,148,426 TERRA and 15.1 billion LUNC in the first transaction, and in the second transaction, they withdrew 576,736 TERRA and 5,487,381 USTC.
The Terraport smart contract currently holds 2.8 million LUNC worth $362. As of the time of publication, the TerraCVita and Terraport teams have not made any official statements, leading to speculation that this could be a hack or a well-designed rug pull scheme.
Classy Crypto, a core team member of TerraCVita, confirmed the attack on Twitter but distanced himself from the incident, stating that he did not receive any tokens or compensation, and that his relatives lost thousands of dollars due to this incident. He also deleted all previous tweets about Terraport and removed any affiliation with TerraCVita from his Twitter bio. (Source link)
