The managed asset scale of Franklin Templeton's on-chain currency fund has exceeded 270 million USD
ChainCatcher news, Franklin Templeton announced today that as of March 31, 2021, the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (FOBXX) ("Fund") has surpassed $270 million in assets under management (AUM). The fund's transfer agent maintains the official record of share ownership through a proprietary blockchain integration system, which currently utilizes the Stellar blockchain network for transaction activities. The fund is the first U.S. registered fund to use a public blockchain to process transactions and record share ownership.
It is reported that one share of the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund is represented by one BENJI token. Token holders can access the fund in their digital wallets through the Benji Investments app available in mobile app stores. The fund invests at least 99.5% of its total assets in U.S. government securities, cash, and repurchase agreements fully collateralized by U.S. government securities or cash. (Source link)
