Coinbase's revenue in the first quarter was $773 million, with a net loss of $79 million
ChainCatcher news, Coinbase pointed out in its released Q1 2023 financial report that the revenue for the first quarter was $773 million, an increase of about 22% quarter-over-quarter, with total trading revenue of $375 million, an increase of 16% quarter-over-quarter, and a decrease of 63% year-over-year. The company reported an adjusted loss per share of $0.34, narrowing from a loss of $2.45 per share in Q4 2022. Additionally, the trading volume for this quarter was $145 billion, compared to approximately $146 billion in Q4 2022.
Coinbase reported a net loss of $79 million for this quarter, which includes $144 million in restructuring costs from layoffs in January, while the net loss for the same period last year was $430 million. (source link)
