Bloomberg: Market makers Jane Street and Jump Trading are exiting the U.S. crypto trading business
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg sources, as regulatory crackdowns on the crypto industry intensify, market makers Jane Street and Jump Trading are exiting the U.S. crypto trading business.
The source stated that both companies are still making markets and have not completely abandoned the crypto industry. However, Jane Street is scaling back its global cryptocurrency expansion plans, while Jump Crypto (the digital asset trading division of Jump Trading) is exiting the U.S. market, although it still plans to expand internationally. Following the collapse of the centralized exchange FTX, U.S. policymakers and regulators have increased their regulatory crackdown on the crypto industry. (CoinDesk)
