CryptoPunk #8611 was destroyed at a price of 54.49 ETH and the same image inscription was minted on Bitcoin

ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, CryptoPunk #8611 was burned for 54.49 ETH (approximately $95,000) and the same image was minted on Bitcoin with inscription 12,456,749.

It is reported that the Bitcoin Bandits community had raised funds to purchase CryptoPunk #8611, and this burn was supported by around 150 members of the community. The burn of CryptoPunk #8611 aims to create a series of Ordinals inscriptions corresponding to a portion of the ownership of CryptoPunks #8611. (source link)
