Bloomberg: Binance Chief Business Officer Yibo Ling has left, and the new General Counsel may be Eleanor Hughes

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg citing informed sources, during the mid-year performance evaluations in June, several Binance US employees were asked if they were willing to be reassigned, and some of those who refused the reassignment were terminated. Binance's Chief Business Officer Yibo Ling is one of the departing US employees.

Informed sources also stated that the new General Counsel of Binance, succeeding Han Ng, will be Eleanor Hughes. Her LinkedIn page shows that Eleanor Hughes joined Binance in November 2021, serving as Senior Legal Counsel and Global Regulatory Lead, and later as Legal Head for the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa regions.
