Binance appoints Eleanor Hughes as the new General Counsel

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Binance has promoted Eleanor Hughes to the new General Counsel. Hughes joined Binance's legal team in November 2021 and recently served as the legal head for the Asia-Pacific and Middle East and North Africa regions, helping the exchange obtain licenses in Bahrain, Dubai, and New Zealand.

It is reported that Hughes will lead Binance's legal affairs with a team of 85 lawyers, working with the global compliance team to address regulatory and legal issues. (source link)
