ChainCatcher previously reported that the Kenyan Ministry of Interior issued a statement on Facebook stating that the department has suspended local activities related to Worldcoin. Its minister, Kithure Kindiki, expressed concerns about the government's collection of citizens' iris data, and relevant economic, security, and data protection agencies have begun investigations to determine the project's legality and data protection.
