The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed the class action lawsuit against Tether and Bitfinex
ChainCatcher News, Chief Judge Laura Taylor Swain of the Southern District of New York has issued a ruling, which includes the dismissal of the class action lawsuit filed by Matthew Anderson and Shawn Dolifka against Tether and Bitfinex. The court found that the plaintiffs' lawsuit lacked any "reasonable damage claims," as there were no facts indicating that "the actual value of USDT has decreased." Furthermore, the lawsuit was dismissed at an early stage, indicating that the plaintiffs' claims had no legal basis.
