The Base mainnet is officially open to the public

ChainCatcher news, the Coinbase Layer2 network Base mainnet is officially open to the public. The Base ecosystem currently has over 100 dapps and service providers. Prior to this release, developers and users had already transferred assets worth over 100 million dollars to the network.

Jesse Pollak, head of the Coinbase protocol, stated that compared to Ethereum, users can use these dapps with lower transaction fees and faster transaction speeds.
