Bithumb: Over 82.5% of investors in their 20s in South Korea have a high investment proportion in altcoins, with XRP accounting for 20.7%
ChainCatcher message, according to data provided by the virtual asset exchange Bithumb, which has 6 million users in South Korea, the investment proportion of 20-year-old investors in Bitcoin and Ethereum accounts for only 17.5% of their total investments.
This proportion is the lowest among all age groups, and only 20-year-old investors have a lower investment proportion in Bitcoin and Ethereum compared to altcoins. The investment proportion of 20-year-old investors in altcoins is as high as 82.5%, indicating their preference for altcoins that are more volatile compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Among them, the most favored altcoin by 20-year-old investors is XRP (Ripple, accounting for 20.7%). In contrast, the investment proportion in Bitcoin and Ethereum is highest among the 30-year-old age group, reaching 28.2%.
