Ripple has agreed to acquire Fortress Trust

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Ripple plans to acquire Fortress Blockchain Technologies' subsidiary Fortress Trust, a chartered trust company based in Nevada that focuses on cryptocurrency and Web3. Ripple intends to continue investing in Fortress and its FortressPay services, which will now begin to adopt Ripple's payment technology.

According to today's announcement, the transaction is still subject to due diligence and regulatory approval.
