Web3 Foundation appoints Fabian Gompf as CEO

ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement, the Web3 Foundation has appointed Fabian Gompf as CEO. Fabian Gompf joins the executive team of the Web3 Foundation and currently serves as a member of the supervisory board. Before 2022, he served as the Vice President of Ecosystem Development at Parity Technologies, responsible for building and launching the Polkadot network. The former CEO of the Web3 Foundation, Bertrand Perez, will take on the role of advisor.
