Metis: Will compensate users holding METIS on BNB Chain with 117,000 METIS when Poly Network is attacked

ChainCatcher news, the Ethereum Layer 2 network Metis announced that it will compensate 117,000 METIS to the addresses holding METIS on BNB Chain that were affected during the Poly Network attack (from the Metis Foundation reserve). Metis will reimburse users who were scammed due to the hacking of the MetisDAO Twitter account, encouraging affected users to submit tickets in the Metis Discord channel to verify on-chain activities and confirm claims.

In addition, Metis will upgrade to the OFT cross-chain standard developed by LayerZero, which allows the native Metis token to be seamlessly traded, held, and used on supported blockchains, with the first two supported chains being BNB Chain and Avalanche.
