Cosmos releases IBC 2024 roadmap theme: scalability and usability

ChainCatcher news, according to official information, the Cosmos official released the IBC 2024 roadmap introduction. The 2024 roadmap covers two themes: scalability and usability. The scalability goals include reducing the time required for native implementation of IBC, lowering the maintenance costs of IBC, and enabling multiple blockchains to form IBC connections.

It is reported that in the past 12 months, IBC has facilitated 52 million transfers worth 29 billion dollars across more than 100 chains.
