The UK has passed an internet safety bill applicable to the metaverse

ChainCatcher news, UK lawmakers have passed a new law covering internet safety, the Online Safety Bill, which requires companies to assess the likelihood of customers encountering illegal content and children encountering harmful content, and to mitigate these potential risks. Member of the House of Lords, Stephen Parkinson, stated that the metaverse is also applicable under this bill.
