Bloomberg: Fund companies such as Silver Point and Attestor Capital have purchased over $250 million in FTX debt

ChainCatcher news, according to an analysis of court records by Bloomberg, hedge funds such as Silver Point Capital, Diameter Capital Partners, and Attestor Capital have purchased over $250 million in FTX claims since the beginning of this year.

Court documents show that in a recent transaction, the asset management firm Hudson Bay Capital Management purchased $23 million in FTX claims from a cookie distributor and shortly thereafter sold about half of them to Diameter.

Data from bond broker Claims Market indicates that in recent weeks, quotes for some junior FTX claims have been around $0.35, up from $0.12 at the beginning of the year.
