Tether CTO: Singapore has long been listed as a prohibited jurisdiction, and the terms of service have not changed
ChainCatcher news, regarding Cointelegraph's report on "Tether bans certain groups of customers in Singapore from exchanging USDT for USD," Tether's Chief Technology Officer Paolo Ardoino stated on the X platform that Tether indicated in its updated terms of service on May 12, 2020, that Singapore is one of the prohibited jurisdictions.
Earlier, ChainCatcher reported earlier today that Cointelegraph stated Tether changed its terms of service (ToS) in Singapore, prohibiting certain local customers from exchanging USDT for USD.
