U.S. Congressman: Gary Gensler will be subpoenaed by Congress if he continues to ignore regulatory requests

ChainCatcher news, Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett posted on social media that U.S. House Financial Services Committee Chairman Patrick McHenry criticized SEC Chairman Gary Gensler for his lack of response to regulatory requests.

Patrick McHenry stated: "You (referring to the SEC) have taken no action to address the reasonable concerns of both parties. This is shameful. Our patience is wearing thin."

McHenry threatened Gensler, stating that if Gensler continues to ignore regulatory requests, he will receive a subpoena. McHenry pointed out: "I don't think you would want to be the first SEC chairman to receive a subpoena from Congress."
