Aave community's new proposal aims to allow the DAO to reward community contributors with GHO to support GHO's peg and adoption

ChainCatcher message, the Aave governance page shows that the Aave community is currently voting on-chain for the proposal "Creating Aave Grants DAO (AGD) GHO Subsidy," which will end voting on September 30.

The proposal suggests replacing the DAI subsidy of Aave Grants DAO (AGD) with a GHO subsidy. After the implementation of this proposal, AGD contributors and Grant recipients will receive GHO as well as other assets held in the AGD multi-signature address as rewards. Given that the current trading price of GHO is below $1, the Aave DAO can purchase GHO from the market and use it to fund AGD.

This is expected to help support GHO's peg while promoting the adoption of GHO.
